Save the architectural ensembles, this is the message that the photographic exposition „moNUmenteUITATE” wants to send. It will be held at Cărturești starting the 18th of April until the 3rd of May.
This project was initiated in 2008, by dr.prof.arh. Anca Bratuleanu and it is based on the field photographs made by three generations of students from the University of Architecture and Urbanism „Ion Mincu”. Three years ago they started to make an archive of images and informations about extra-urban noble residences that date from XVII-XIX centuries, from Transilvania, Banat, Crișana and Maramureș. The project’s main purpose is to make more and more people aware of what’s happening and saving these architectural wonders from being ruined or vanishing.
